Duration
This course will be delivered in a combination of workplace training and off-job block course training with the completion within approximately 24 months.

- $13,500 per learner (excl. GST)
- Include NZ Certificate in Electricity Supply (Introductory) Level 2 for a total of $14,500.00 per learner (excluding GST) - minimum numbers apply
Note: Minimum numbers apply for course to proceed.
Learners must of completed NZCES Level 2 and be currently employed in the distribution sector.
Recognising Current Competency
On job assessment program recognising current competency for skilled and experienced workers that don’t hold a current formal qualification.
Duration
This qualification will be delivered over 3-6 months excluding capstone assessments and includes handover, gathering evidence, a professional interview and referee checks.

To be eligible for this RCC assessment, you must meet the following entry criteria:
- You are a New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident, or hold a visa that allows work and training within New Zealand.
- Currently in full time employment in the Electrical Supply Industry as a Line Mechanic.
- You have 2 years full time experience working within the Electricity Supply Industry beyond your electrical registration.
Learners must hold:
- New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply (Introductory) Level 2 or equivalent
- EWRB provisional or practicing licence

Course Details
Course Structure
The course is structured using a mixture of on-job and off-job learning.
Off-job learning is completed during week-long blocks, the trainee will return to their workplace where they will further develop their skills with the guidance of workplace mentors and support from their iskills specialist assessors.
Capstone assessments are included that meet the formal requirements of EWRB Registration.
Also included are plant operator and high-risk activity training that meet the MBIE approved code of practice.
